Oldham Athletic Community Trust
OACT is a community support, charitable organisation that works in partnership with the local public providing opportunities through their sport connections to reward and inspire members of our local community.
Their training programme is aimed at young adults, who are not in education or working to provide training and educational experience through Oldham Athletic Community Trusts connections, to provide further employment opportunities for them. This is something we, at Techienology, are more than happy to support and get involved in.
Our Work Together
As a company, we are always ready to help out where possible. Part of our vision is to be the first choice Solution Provider in the technology sector providing IT and Communication services to businesses and schools throughout the region and beyond, but this isn’t just limited to IT Services and Solutions, we also love to provide support to our local students and schools.
We have been working with the Oldham Athletic Community Trust by taking part in their Youth Futures Foundation Employability Placements by providing work experience opportunities within our business.
Techienology have recently offered one of our Training Ground Participants a Trainee IT Service Desk Engineer placement to help him gain relevant experience and build upon key skills within the industry. Techienology have been fantastic and have gone above and beyond to give our participant the best and most realistic experience of real life work. This placement has played a significant role in his development and has laid down the foundations for him to pursue a career within this area.
